Production Advantages That
Add Up Fast

Every hour saved on form turnover is revenue gained. Sensytec gives you the data to run your plant at peak efficiency.

Faster Form Turnover

Know the exact moment concrete reaches stripping strength. Stop waiting on conservative estimates and turn forms hours sooner.

Predictable Cycles

Real-time data on every bed and every pour. Plan production schedules with confidence using actual cure data, not assumptions.

QC Documentation

Automated, cloud-logged records for every pour. Generate compliance reports, maturity curves, and temperature histories instantly.

Reduced Testing

Minimize or eliminate cylinder break testing. Save on lab costs, reduce handling risk, and get results faster with in-situ data.

QC Module for PCI- & NPCA-Certified
Plants and State DOT Producers

A daily flow that matches how QC managers actually work the plant floor. Drawings, pre and post pour inspections, NCRs, batch and break logs, and the post-pour sticker workflow in one screen — tied to the pour record, exportable for the auditor. First-class checklist modes for PCI MNL-116, MNL-117, NPCA QCM-001, and state DOT plant certification programs (TxDOT, FDOT, Caltrans).

PCI / NPCA scoped, read-only, exportable trail.
No double entry

Pulls the day's pour schedule from your existing ERP or scheduling system — or from Excel, PDF, or manual entry if that's what you use today.

Right drawing, every time

Distinguishes cast drawings from construction drawings — and tracks revisions — so the crew always pours off the right sheet.

Sticker workflow built in

Post-pour QC sticker generation, scheduled recurring checks, and exception logging tied directly to the pour record.

Audit-ready by default

PCI and NPCA inspectors see the trail they need. Records build as you work, not the week before the audit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do concrete sensors speed up precast bed turnover?

Real-time sensors track in-place strength continuously, so a plant can detension and strip the moment the concrete actually reaches release strength rather than waiting on a conservative time-based rule or a 24-hour cylinder break. Most plants gain 1-4 additional bed cycles per week with the same crew and equipment.

What is match-cure and why does it matter for prestressed concrete?

Match-cure systems hold a companion test cylinder at the same temperature as the prestressed bed throughout the cure. Because cylinder strength tracks the actual bed concrete, the release decision is based on representative data. Without match-cure, cylinders cured next to the bed can over-cure or under-cure by 10-30°F and give misleading break results.

Are Sensytec sensors compliant with ASTM and DOT specs?

Yes. SensyCast follows ASTM C1074 (maturity method), AASHTO T-358 (surface resistivity), and ASTM C1876 (bulk resistivity). The sensors are accepted by Texas DOT, Caltrans, and major precast certification programs. Calibration data is exportable for QC submittals.

How much does a SensyCast sensor system cost?

Pricing depends on plant size, sensor count, and whether you need SensyCure match-cure capability. Most plants pay back the system within 3-6 months from gained bed cycles alone. Use our ROI calculator or contact us for a custom quote.

Can sensors replace cylinder testing entirely?

They replace many strength-decision breaks, but most contracts and certification programs still require periodic acceptance cylinders. The bigger value is in the schedule decisions: detensioning, stripping, and shipping based on verified in-place strength rather than calendar rules.

Where do you install the sensor in a prestressed bed?

The sensor is tied to the rebar or strand cage at the structural element's critical section before the pour. SensyHub guides placement based on the element type (girder, double-T, wall panel) and the strength location of interest. Once placed, the sensor reads continuously through the entire cure.

Which PCI manuals does SensyHub support?

All three of the major plant-certification manuals: PCI MNL-116 for structural precast and bridge products, and PCI MNL-117 for architectural precast. Each is a first-class checklist mode in the SensyHub QC Module, driven by the plant profile. Plants certified to more than one manual can run them in parallel on the same site.

Does SensyHub support NPCA QCM-001 plants?

Yes. NPCA QCM-001 is a first-class checklist mode in the SensyHub QC Module. Plants producing utility, drainage, manholes, vaults, septic, or any other NPCA scope can run the daily flow in NPCA mode and produce QCM-001 audit documentation. Multi-plant operations can mix PCI, NPCA, and DOT modes per site.

Does SensyHub support state DOT plant certification programs?

Yes. State DOT certification is a first-class mode in the SensyHub QC Module. The module supports TxDOT, FDOT, Caltrans, and other AASHTO-aligned state DOT plant certification programs. Plants that ship to a single DOT or to multiple DOTs can configure each program independently and run them in parallel where required.
